VARIETY

Single variety Trinitario, centrally fermented. Sweet and complex profile. Yellow fruit, herbal tones, red wine tannins and cider freshness.

STORY

The cocoa is grown by smallholders in the Matiguas, Muy Muy and San Ramon villages in central Nicaragua. Through quality improvement work, the farmers have access to a specialised market, which greatly improves their livelihoods.
